On Friday July 27th I flew into Kilimanjaro Airport and was met by members of Tusker Trail Expedition. We drove to Moshi where we would stay until Sunday. During this time I met other members of the group that I would be climbing with as well as the Tusker Guide leading the climb up the mountain. Tusker led us through an orientation of the climb itself and the equipment that we would be using.
